If Takoma Park is Azalea City, then Rehoboth Beach is Hydrangea City. The little town was blossoming with them when Mr HH and I set out on a day trip there earlier this week. There's nothing quite so small town America at the Fourth of July than big blossoming hydrangeas.
We also finally got to pop inside Miss Pixie's by the Sea and I was so happily surprised to see a little wall of greeting cards, most of them made in DC by DC letterpress artists and illustrators. Seeing the familiar types of Typecase Industries, Grey Moggie Press, Brand Dave, Elizabeth Graeber and more was like a friendly little nod from the city, like little friends saying hello.
