This year I have been frugal when it comes to plants- not buying my usual dozen every season to kill. I've been scrimping and saving all year during this adventure of full self-employment, so splurging on my weekly flowers from the farmer's market hasn't been happening as much. Probs why I've been so MIA on the blog this year, too. But after a decently okay show last week, I decided to treat myself. It's been almost a full year of this crazy world and I deserve some pretty Fall plants. Mums, chrysanthemums and a beautiful blooming cabbage are charming the pants out of the front yard of my apartment building and making my morning coffees on the stoop with Rosie / outdoor yoga sessions more lovely.
P.S. I've been loving moody lighting these days. [ See Exhibit A ] These photos were snapped in some late afternoon light on this windy and lovely little Sunday.
Today we drank coffee, cleaned the apartment, pet our pup, sipped soup and fully enjoyed a sunny D A Y O F F. What's that like?
